The Eberly College of Business and Information Technology at IUP offers a
Masters of Business Administration degree program designed to prepare
managers to meet the competitive challenges of the twenty-first century.
The program accommodates recent college graduates from all disciplines
seeking advanced management training as well as experienced professionals
who are looking for additional knowledge and skills in the business arena
in order to become a more proficient manager.
The IUP MBA program has
a strategic and international focus in its curriculum, composition of
students, and teaching methods. Faculty members in the MBA program
have extensive academic, industrial, and consulting experience and bring a
strong, real-world flavor to the classroom.
The objective of the MBA
program is to offer students a broad
graduate-level
general management education
with an option to concentrate in
Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, International Business,
or Marketing.
The prevailing theme of the program emphasizes strategic
decision making in a changing global environment.
The MBA program can be
pursued on either a full-time or part-time (evening) basis.
Full-time students with an undergraduate degree in business can complete
the program in one calendar year (two semesters and summer session).
Full-time students with a non-business undergraduate degree may take up to
two years to complete the program. Depending upon prior academic
background and business course work, part-time students complete the
program in about three years.
